This documentation contains the limited warranty and terms and conditions agreement that apply to HOSHINO ING CORPORATION (here after referred to as HOSHINO ING) products. By purchasing product from HOSHINO ING, customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this agreement.

Please be certain in advance that this limited warranty applies only to the HOSHINO ING product that the original customer purchased directly from HOSHINO ING, and does not include HOSHINO ING product sold to a third party by the original purchaser as "second hand," or the product sold by a reseller other than HOSHINO ING.

User registration will be made automatically at the time of order. Customers do not need to fill in any additional information.


1.  Statement Subjects and Duration

Important
The delivery confirmation slip given by the shipping carrier at the time of product arrival will be one of the most important documents as it proves the start date of the warranty. We made this arrangement to set the start date of warranty on the date of product arrival, instead of the date of purchase, to make it fair for all the customers around the world. Make sure to keep this slip along with the bill of sale and the warranty card as well as the product package.


2.  Scope of Warranty

This limited warranty is the only warranty applicable to the product. No oral or written information or advice/suggestion given by HOSHINO ING (its executives, employees and all concerned) to the original purchaser or a third party shall create a warranty or obligation to HOSHINO ING or in any way increase the scope of this warranty.


Duration of Warranty for Initial Product Failure

If initial failure is found with the product, please contact us through e-mail within 2 weeks from the date of product arrival. Claims made after the first 2 weeks will not be accepted for free replacement or repair service.

The product will be replaced once the initial failure is confirmed by HOSHINO ING. If the production or the sales of the product had been terminated by the time, it will be replaced by an equivalent product. Customers may be asked to take and send us pictures that show damaged/missing parts.

Depends on the type of the problem, replacement by parts may be applicable. In this case, the replacement will be made by the customer.

Fee-based Repair Service

If you wish to repair product under these circumstances stated below, please contact us by E-mail. Please note that the shipping fee and any customs charged while sending and/or receiving the item are the responsibility of the customer.

  1. If the no record of purchase is found in our online system, or customer lost the bill of sale included in the shipping package.
  2. If the damage is caused during shipment. Or by impact with other objects, dropping, falls, spilled liquids, or immersion in liquids or by any improper handlings.
  3. Damage caused by improper usage, alterations, modifications, repair done by customer, any other misuse, mishandling or misapplication.
  4. Damage caused by fire, earthquake, lightning, flood, wind or other natural calamities/public hazards and electrical problem.
  5. Damage caused by accessories, attachments, product supplies, parts of devices including expendable items used in/with the product.
  6. Damage caused both intentionally and negligently.

3.  Exclusions

Please make sure that this warranty only covers damages or defects encountered in normal use of the product during the warranty period and does not apply in the following cases even within the warranty period.

  1. Damage or problem caused by accessories and/or by the compatibility problem with other parts used in/with the product.
  2. Problems with specific product which shows the same condition.
  3. Damage or problem caused by specific OS (basic software.)
  4. Defect found by the combination with specific software.
  5. Defect caused by parts, internal/external devices used in/with the product. (Product Compatibility problem.)
  6. Defect caused by the usage with accessories, attachments, supplies, parts or devices and expendable items that were not included with this product.
  7. Defect caused by failure to provide a suitable installation, operating environment, or maintenance for the product.
  8. Damage caused by misuse, alterations, modifications and/or repair.
  9. Damage to other product caused during the installation or exchange of parts; including damage to motherboard, memory, CPU and others.
  10. Damage caused by external factors including but not limited to electric outage, cutoff, and other electrical accidents.
  11. Damage caused by wear loss, deterioration.
  12. Damage caused by failure in BIOS/Firmware updates, Jumper settings, wrong cable settings, and overclocking.
  13. External damage or deterioration during regular product usage.
  14. Defect caused through usage of OS other than recommended.

4.  Disclaimers

HOSHINO ING IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF DATA; INCLUDING HDD DATA, PROFITS, TIME, TRUST, CLAIM MADE BY A THIRD PARTY OR MADE BY YOU FOR A THIRD PARTY ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT, AND ALL COSTS RELATING REPAIR. HOSHINO ING'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS UNDER THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PRICE PAID FOR THE PRODUCT.

5.  Important Reminders

  1. This limited warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable.
  2. Keep the warranty card with the product serial number sticker along with the proof of purchase. The card is the permanent record of warranty applicable to the HOSHINO ING product and if lost, it will not be reissued.
  3. When returning the product for warranty service, the shipping charges must be prepaid by the customer who should assume the risk of damage or loss in transit. After repair or replacement is made, the product will be return shipped to the customer at charge of HOSHINO ING.
  4. Before returning any part for repair or replacement, be sure to back up data and remove any confidential, proprietary, or personal information.
  5. Design and specifications of products are subject to change without prior notice.

6.  About In-Transit Loss or Damage

If the product is damaged or lost during the transit, please contact us by E-mail immediately. We will arrange the product pick-up.
